12/3/2014 - The article called Guess What Happened The Last Time the Price of Oil Crashed Like This? describes one of the reasons why I worry about the US’s economy this coming year, especially the Fall of 2015. There is the possibility of a very sound biblical reason behind the Wall street crashes of 2008, 2001, 1994, 1987, 1980, 1973/74 – with a starting 49/50 year cycle of the 1967 (Six Day War which resulted in Jerusalem returning to Jewish rule) as well other 7 year and 49 year cycles dating back for thousands of years. In fact, 49 years before 1967 was another extremely important Biblical Prophecy coming true – 1917/1918 – The Balfour Declaration which was responsible for the land of Israel finally being reinstated to the Jews. Combine these with the blood moon tetrads and their occurrences on significant Jewish/US events over the last thousand years and it would be hard to believe that they could be only coincidences.

These so called coincidences leave those who believe with the mindset that there are actually no “coincidences.” The mathematics of the probabilities becomes too large to be considered coincidences.

The Biblical reason could actually be the effects of the Shemittah year which is the Jewish calendar year, 5775 (Sept. 24, 2014 – Sept. 13, 2015). It is a Sabbatical year. The year following the destruction of the second Holy Temple (3829 from creation, equivalent to 68–69 CE or what we commonly say 70 AD) just so happened to be the first year of a seven-year Sabbatical cycle – as well as other significant Shemittah years before and after that time.

Most of the Sabbatical year’s observances are agricultural in nature, and are relevant only in Israel. However, because the US is tied more tightly to the Jews than most realize, it may be possible that the US as a nation could feel Shemittah-like effects of abandoning Israel and God. We have been blessed as a nation because we blessed Israel and its people. However, for the last 50 years we have been steadily abandoning Israel and God. We have declined spiritually and morally. This moral decay has resulted in the murder of nearly 60 million of our unborn children since 1973.

Israel as a nation was warned not to break the rules for the 7^th year. Keeping the 7^th year as God demanded was a sign of trust between His people and Himself. The Jews were to store up enough food that in the 7^th year, no crops were to be planted. The ground was to be left alone. At the end of the year, all debts were to be released. If you trusted God to take care of you this much, then He would provide so much more than needed in the following year. I can see where it would be hard to trust God that much. When they quit trusting Him, they began falling away spiritually then morally. When all was said and done, they were worshipping idols and sacrificing their own children to them. They killed their children. God judged them by dispersing them from their nation. This happened in 606 BC as well as in 70 AD during a Shemittah when the Jews were dispersed from their land throughout the world. They returned as a nation in 1918/1948, as promised in the Bible, never to be lost again.

The US is abandoning God and Israel. We are embracing false religions and have fallen away both spiritually and morally. We are murdering our children. By all rights, God has a right to judge us. We have been blessed by His protection and we have grown mightily as a nation. As Israel was once warned by a “first strike” of an enemy, we have been warned by a “first strike” of an enemy – 2001. His hand of protection may be steadily lifting because we have not returned to Him as a nation. In the Old Testament, it described Israel as doing the same thing. Their warning ran out and God lifted His hand. The enemy came in.

If God’s hand lifts, the US will finally lose the arrogance that we have acquired to think that we are something special of our own accord, when in fact it was God’s blessings that made us truly special. At that time, our nation could very well be ravaged by the combination of a collapsing economy, a massive terrorist strike or attack from another country such as Russia. One could cause another.
