A Nation Standing at the Cross Roads of Judgment or Reward - Part 2

With the world literally pushing against Israel from all sides, (referring to recent UN Resolutions against her as well as the 70 nation conference that gathered in Paris on January 15, 2017 just to further condemn her and her rightful ownership of the land), we must continue to affirm Israel’s true Biblical and historical heritage as well as its role in future events.  God has set this tiny nation, the apple of His eye, at the center of all things and all things prophetic points directly toward her.  Jesus said that He will one day rule from the city of Jerusalem.  God warns that all those who come against her will face His judgment and destruction.

The world’s nations are, however, gathering against her proclaiming that a major part of her lands belongs to the Palestinians.  So, who really are the “Palestinian people” who claim ownership of Jerusalem as their capitol and, amongst themselves, all the land of Israel?  Actually, they are nothing more than a made up group of people.

Nearly two millennia ago in 135 A.D., Roman Emperor Hadrian, after a Jewish revolt had been crushed, decided to further humiliate them by renaming how the Romans referred to the Jewish homeland.  Before that time, the Romans referred to the land of Israel as either Judea or Galilee.  Hadrian deliberately renamed it to Palestine, referring actually to Israel’s ancient enemies – the Philistines (Goliath’s people).  However, the Philistines had, in reality, ceased to exist hundreds of years prior.  Yet, the name of Palestine became commonplace regarding the “geographical area” of Israel.  This name remained in use with respect to the region until the Jews reclaimed its actual name of Israel.  Before that, they were all, Jews and Arabs alike, people of the Palestine area.  There were no “Palestinians” nor was there ever a Palestinian capitol.

In the 1960’s, the terrorist, Yasser Arafat, began a crusade consisting of a massive propaganda campaign that would eventually vilify Israel in the eyes of the rest of the world.  They began claiming that Israel was in fact violating the human rights of the Palestinians.  Arafat’s “actual” acts of terrorism toward Israel resulted in, of course, retaliation by Israel.  Sadly, over the years, activists around the world began to sympathize with their cause.  They began to see Israel as the bad guy and began to advocate for the “creation” of a Palestinian nation living side by side in harmony with Israel.  Yet, they have only blinded themselves to these Arab’s actual intentions - to possess all of Israel and to drive the Jews into the sea.  The sad thing is, it has nearly worked - except that Israel will never be wiped out and will remain a nation for the rest of eternity.

In 1967, Israel was attacked by many of its surrounding nations.  However, in six days, Israel had won the war, reclaiming Jerusalem as its actual ancient true Capitol city.  Arafat and others ramped up their tactics of terrorism and his rhetoric somehow further appealed to human rights activists all around the globe.  The so-called “Palestinians” claimed that Jerusalem was ever so much more precious to the Muslim faith than it had ever been perceived to be before.  All of a sudden, it was their capitol when it had never been before.  Yet, there was no nor had there ever been an actual Palestinian nation or Palestinian people to be a capitol of.  Still, over the years, as a result of the constant mind conditioning tactics of this Palestinian terrorist organization’s propaganda, the world has succumbed to believing that these people exist and that they deserve a nation on the tiny land of Israel with Jerusalem as their capitol.

Last year, when John Kerry and Barack Obama declared that east Jerusalem belonged to the Palestinians, as well as all of Judea and Samaria, they were deliberately blinding themselves to the actual historical facts of ownership.  They were deceiving themselves as to the validity of an actual “Palestinian people and nation.”  They were ignoring thousands of years of Jewish history.

So, how should we, as people of other nations around the globe, respond to the question of “illegal Israeli occupation of Palestinian land?”  Well don’t just jump on any human rights group's band wagon.  Use your God-given brain and dig into actual history.  What you will find is vastly different from the rhetoric flowing from these deliberately ignorant people.  Ownership clearly and irrevocably belongs for all time to the Jews.

Don’t be those nations and those peoples that God will Judge in the end but rather be nations and people who are determined to stand with God, blessing His people and the great nation of Israel.

For thus saith the LORD of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye (Zechariah 2:8).

Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed (Genesis 12:1-3).

I will gather all the nations and bring them down to the valley of Jehoshaphat. Then I will enter into judgment with them there on behalf of My people and My inheritance, Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations; and they have divided up My land (Joel 3:2)..
