In God's Trust

 I Love You Still

I have watched over you and have taken care of you from the beginning.

I chastised you as a child to teach you right from wrong.

I loved you when you were good and when you were bad.

I taught you how to grow and to live.

I suffered with you through hard times and heartaches.

I rejoiced with you in good times.

I missed you when you were afar off.

I suffered and died that you would be forgiven of all that you’ve done.

I arose from the grave so that you too would live.

Before the earth was formed, I looked down through the ages and knew you personally.  I saw all of the good and all of the bad, and yet, I still chose you.  I still loved you.  I still died for you.  Don't be so far off – I miss you.  I have gone nowhere.  Just turn and walk into my arms – no questions asked for I know everything anyway.  You are my son and I love you come what may.

And he arose and came to his father.  But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him. And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven and in thy sight and am no more worthy to be called thy son (Luke 15:20,21).

Notice that his father embraced him even before his son had confessed his sins.  Don’t be afraid.  Look and you will find that His arms are open wide waiting to embrace you once again.

Your Decision to Receive Christ as Your Savior:

Confess to God that you are a sinner.  Believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for your sins on the cross and was raised for your justification.  Receive and Confess Him as your personal Savior.

Assurance As a Believer:

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved (Romans 10:9).
