In God's Trust

Called In His Name

The Name of our creator/keeper of the universe, who is the source of all beauty in the earth and sky and all things contained within, is without a doubt the sweetest Name I know.  He was born as flesh and blood a few thousand years later and declared to all by an angel that his Name is JESUS the Saviour of the world.  All that was, is and is to come is by Him and through Him.

By His Name nations were blessed, slaves were freed from bondage, waters were parted, sicknesses were healed, heartaches were mended, mountains have been moved and sins have been forgiven.  We were created by Him for His purposes and bought and paid for by His own blood that we may live a life that will give all glory and honor to His Father in Heaven.  He arose from the grave three days later to conquer death and hell forever for those that believe.  Jesus has given all of His children a great gift – the gift of eternal life for all who believe and trust in Him.

Honor and do not despise nor blaspheme His great Name.  Use His precious Name in Holy context, not as a substitute curse word.  Believers are called to be ambassadors for Christ’s kingdom and have been given the authority to speak and instruct in His Name.  We are responsible for the keeping of His good Name and reputation.  Use it wisely at all times that you may continue to speak and pray with all power, in the authority that His Name gives to all believers who are acting in behalf of the Will of Christ Jesus.

And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins (Mathew 1:21).

Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain: for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain (Deuteronomy 5:11).

Glory ye in His holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the Lord (1 Chronicles 16:10).

But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name (1 John 5:13).

And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by Him (Colossians 3:17).

Your Decision to Receive Christ as Your Savior:

Confess to God that you are a sinner.  Believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for your sins on the cross and was raised for your justification.  Receive and Confess Him as your personal Savior.

Assurance As a Believer:

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved (Romans 10:9).
